General Questions

Does insurance cover your services?
Our services are covered by a number of extended health insurance benefit plans, and many patients are able to receive reimbursement for their visits. Since we do not do third party billing, payment is due at the time of the treatment session, and we provide an insurance receipt for the patient to submit directly to their insurance company on their own behalf.

Canadian Patients: You will need to check that your plan will accept APNN receipts (Alliance Professional of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists). If you are outside of New Brunswick, you will need to confirm that you are covered for out-of-province services. Our services generally fall under “natural therapies”. We are also registered directly with Medvie Blue Cross in New Brunswick. You can also look into the option of applying our receipts to your HSA (Health Spending Account), if you have one as part of your plan.

American Patients: You will need to check that your plan will accept out-of-country receipts (Canadian). Our services generally are classified as “naturopathy” or “natural therapies”. Most US patients successfully apply our receipts to their HSA (Health Spending Account), if you have one as part of your plan. We are not able to provide USA medical coding on the receipts.

Yes, many by 3rd party/workplace insurance plans will cover naturopathic services from practitioners belonging to A.P.N.N. Check with your company / agent. We are paid directly and we will give you an official insurance receipt for you to send to your insurer for reimbursement.

Absolutely! If you want us to confer with another practitioner (or vice versa) we will under most circumstances.

What are your policies post-covid?

Of course, we maintain a clean facility as usual. If the covid-19 situation changes, we follow reccomendations of our association, A.P.N.N.
